Wonderful slopes await you from Brixen im Thale to the Kitzbühel Alps, 250 km of pistes, from the skier's point of view as well as the snowboarder's point of view

You are spoiled for choice in the Kitzbüheler Alpen region: Carving either in the largest contiguous ski area in Austria or in the world-famous ski area around the Streif. Or even better: both as well.
Sledding
The tip for all sledding friends is the Brixenbachweg in Brixen im Thale. A beautiful and daily prepared winter hiking trail leads you directly to the rustic, cultivated "Brixenbachalm". The 3.5 km back to the valley is best done by toboggan. Sledding can be rented from the hostel for a small fee.
